ToolWick is a brand used by an independent developer, not an incorporated company. Payments and taxes are handled by Lemon Squeezy acting as the Merchant of Record.

ToolWick is operated by an independent developer based in Türkiye. Privacy requests can be sent to support@toolwick.work.
Lemon Squeezy separately handles checkout as Merchant of Record under its own terms and privacy notice.
Information processed
- Licence, order, product and subscription identifiers, plus licence status and expiry.
- HMAC digests of licence keys and installation identifiers on the server; plain licence keys are not stored in the ToolWick database.
- The installation ID, licence key and signed entitlement in the extension’s local browser storage.
- Email, messages and attachments you send to support.
- Technical request and security records needed to protect and troubleshoot the service.
- If you use the idea form: the idea you write, the category and language you chose, an HMAC digest of your IP address for the one-suggestion rule (the address itself is not stored), and a cookie in your browser noting that you sent a suggestion. Ideas are kept while they are reviewed for extension planning.
- Visit statistics (no cookies): pages viewed, language, the referring site’s domain, clicks on store and checkout links, and coarse device details (browser name, operating system, desktop or mobile). These are linked to a one-way pseudonym (an HMAC digest) derived from your IP address and browser details and regenerated every day; the IP address and full browser string are not stored, and the same person cannot be matched across days. Per-visitor records are deleted after 30 days; daily totals are kept without any link to a person.
Why we process it
We use this information to activate licences, verify product-specific paid access, reflect subscription or chargeback status, prevent abuse and answer support requests.
Depending on the activity, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legal obligations, establishment or defence of rights, or a legitimate interest in secure operation. ToolWick does not build advertising profiles or send marketing email.
Service providers
The site and licensing API run on a server hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Lemon Squeezy handles payment, receipts and tax; card data does not pass through ToolWick servers.
Retention and security
Licence and transaction records are kept to provide the service and for 5 years after cancellation to meet legal and tax obligations.
Licence keys are stored as HMAC digests on the server and paid-access tokens are signed. No online system can promise absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask about, correct or request deletion of your personal information and exercise other relevant data rights by writing to support@toolwick.work. Please describe your request and provide enough information to verify your identity.
Requests about payment-card information or a Lemon Squeezy account may also need to be sent directly to Lemon Squeezy.
